If you are lucky, you will see dolphins and seals, and plenty of sea birds. These are all wild marine life so sightings can’t be guaranteed!

FAQs

Children over the age of 9 and adults are welcome aboard, as long as you are at least 144cms tall and can put your feet down while sitting on our seat you are good to go! If you’re unsure, measure your inside leg (crotch to floor) – the minimum length is 25 inches or 65cm.

Children from 9 – 16 must be accompanied by an adult.

If you are pregnant, or suffer from a heart condition, back problems, or any other medical condition that would be deemed relevant, we strongly recommend you dont book the Sea Safari.

Our Sea Safari tours depart from the pontoon past the lighthouse in Dunmore East Harbour.

You will need to arrive at least 30 mins prior to your departure time. This is to give us time to get you into your lifejacket, and go through the safety brief.

If you are late, we cannot guarantee that you will have time to go through the necessary safety briefing, and so you will not be able to join the sea safari trip. In this case, there is no refund. Give yourself plenty of time to park and get to Dunmore East, its a lovely village to visit if you are early!
Parking is available at the top of the main harbour road, behind East Pier Chipper and Fish Shop. It is approx 5 – 10 minutes walk time from there to the Sea Safari past the lighthouse.
Its always a bit colder out on the sea so we would recommend a waterproof jacket, hat and gloves on cooler days. A cap, sunglasses and sum cream on sunnier days.
We always watch the weather conditions and so if it is going to be extremely wet or rough, we will contact you, if we need to cancel a tour due to bad weather, we will issue you with a refund.
Dolphins are wild creatures and so we cannot guarantee that they will be around on every trip.
If we have less than 6 passengers booked in on any of our trips, the trip will be cancelled and you will get a full refund.
