Kids Basic Sailing Skills – Level 2
Basic Skills will set you up on your way to being an independent sailor! Minimum age: 11 years
During this course, we concentrate on boat handling and seamanship skills, and by the end of the sailing course, you should be confident to helm your own dinghy in moderate wind strengths.
As with all of our courses, all equipment is supplied (wetsuit, buoyancy aid, boat!), but you are welcome to wear your own wetsuit if you have one.
This course is fully accredited with Irish Sailing.
Course Pre-requisites:
Pre-booking essential
Participants must be able to swim
Pre-requisites: Have completed sailing Level 1 – Start Sailing, or have a basic knowledge of sailing.
Duration: 5 days
Minimum age: 11yrs
Course dates: Available weekly from 24th June to 23rd August 2024.
Daily times: 9.30am – 3pm
