Our Starfish Summer Camp is designed especially for our youngest adventurers. This exciting summer camp in Dunmore East introduces children aged 5–6 to the excitement of outdoor adventure in a safe, supportive and fun environment. With our dedicated instructors, Starfish campers will gain confidence, learn new skills and enjoy their first taste of adventure.
Summer Camp Overview
Throughout the week, campers will experience a mix of land and water-based activities, giving them the chance to develop new skills, work together and enjoy plenty of fun along the way.
- Price per person: €195 per child
- Duration: Monday - Friday, 9.30am - 12.30pm
- Ages: 5 - 6 years
Meet in Splash Cafe each morning at 9.30am – an adult will need to help their Starfish into a wetsuit each morning
Collection is at 12.30pm from our Land Base in the Harbour – beside the car park.

Frequently asked questions
Does my child need to be able to swim?
As our Starfish campers are being introduced to water based activities, they don’t need to be able to swim.
Do I need to help my child to get dressed in the morning?
Yes, you will need to help your child to get into their wetsuit in the morning, if they are doing water activities.
What do the kids need to bring with them to camp?
The kids will need to bring swim wear and towel, and water shoes (sold in our shop or bring your own) we will provide a wetsuit, helmet and lifejacket. Gym wear is suitable for the land activities.
What time do I need to drop off and pick up?
Drop off time is 9.30am but you will need to have your child ready and dressed for activities by 10am.
Pick up is at 12.30pm, if your Starfish is availing of our camp lunch, they can be picked up at 1pm.
What happens if it’s raining?
If it’s raining, camp still goes ahead! We will contact you directly if there is any reason to cancel.
Is there a discount for multiple bookings?
Book two or more campers on one week and receive a discount off each camper:
€10 per shark/trailblazer/teen adventure camper or €5 per starfish
Is there anywhere for spectators to watch?
We have a fantastic Cafe serving barista coffee, sweet treats, pizza and fresh rolls overlooking the water based activities.
Can we get lunch after the camp?
Lunch is available from our Splash Cafe – which can be ordered and ready for when your Starfish camper finishes camp. Any Starfish staying for camp lunch (ordered from our café) can be picked up at 1pm instead of the usual 12.30 pick up time.
