New Transition Year Schools Programme

Dunmore Adventure have a full programme of Outdoor Activities available to secondary schools, following the guidelines of the government and WHO.

Multi Activity Outdoor activities - using the outdoors as a classroom to bond the students while also learning new skills.

Dunmore Adventure is also offering Certificate Courses in Sailing, and Kayaking, as well as skills courses in Windsurfing, SUP, Archery and Climbing.

A new addition to the line up is a 5 day Assistant Instructor Course, designed for Transition Year Students that have completed at least two of the Centres skills or Certificate courses.

This new course is general preparation for work as an assistant instructor in the outdoor industry, and a start along the pathway to becoming a valuable asset to a working outdoor activity centre. It will open the students eyes as to what is involved in working in an outdoor business, and give them an opportunity to apply for summer work in the industry.

The Centre is certified by Failte Ireland and follows the guidelines of the Covid-19 Safety Charter.
