The Masters Apprentice TV show 15 years ago - Are you one of our campers?

July 2008, 15 years ago, a film crew rolls into Dunmore East, a nervous young apprentice steps out into the unknown.... will he make the grade as a trainee manager in one of Irelands busiest activity centres by the end of the week?

We were chosen as a tourism business from hundreds that were considered by RTE and Tyrone Productions to be mentors on the Masters Apprentice series, a brainchild of Failte Irelands, designed to showcase the best of Irish Tourism.

It was a great opportunity for us, as owners of Dunmore Adventure, to assist a young Instructor in fullfilling his dream - to one day operate his own Adventure Business. The programme involved Dan Keely, a student from Colaiste Dhulaigh Dublin. During his time at Dunmore Adventure, Dan was constantly presented with challenges by Karen, Rupert and Gavin, to see if he had what it takes to make it in the business of Adventure.

View the programme to see if Dan manages to coordinate a large number of Instructors, summer camp kids, sailing courses and adult activities, while constantly aware of the safety, enjoyment, and education of each individual, under the watchfull eye of the three owners.
