Improving Skills - Level 3
Step up your sailing — master new skills and experience the rush of trapeze sailing.
If you’ve got to grips with Basic Skills in light to moderate winds and are ready to move on, our Improving Skills course is the ideal next step. You’ll build confidence on the water while developing your boat handling, seamanship and sailing independence.
Please note that sailors must attend our one-week Sailing Skills Revision Week before joining this course, unless they have been sailing regularly within the last six months.
Expect plenty of practical, hands-on sailing during the week. You’ll also experience the ultimate rush in our Topaz Vibe and Argo boats. We also cover the key theory needed to progress safely, including basic navigation, tides, weather and safety.

Course Pre-requisites:
Age: You must be at least 12 years of age on the date that you start this course.
To Attain the full Improving Skills (Level 3) accreditation- you will need to have been sailing regularily or first attend our Sailing Skills Refresher weekÂ

Duration: This is a 5 day course, Monday to Friday, 9.30am – 3pm
